all rentals require no insurance or security deposit if you hire me as your assistant or digital tech.  insurance may be requested for shipping or travel by plane or train.  rentals for which I am not hired to be on set require either a full security deposit for the replacement value of equipment, or a proof of insurance with Divided By Xero listed as a loss payee on the policy.
